“I found your site through the Welsh Football Data Archive, a fabulous site. |

For thirteen years I was secretary and a director of Burscough FC, who play in the UniBond League, and are based midway between Liverpool and Preston, but I always had an interest in north Wales football. I bought Gareth Davies's history of the NWCFA many years ago and I also wrote a piece in the national 'Team Talk' magazine about Borough United following the reunion at Conwy a few years back. I also have a couple of league programmes of Borough. I will scan and email all that material to you (some attached - some to follow). |
|
In August of last year I moved to live in Anglesey and have recently joined the committee of Glantraeth, the current Cymru Alliance champions. I have now taken over management of the club website at www.glantraethfc.co.uk . |

I think the story of Borough United is one of the most enthralling in Welsh football. As my article said: 'a club that came, saw and conquered, then just faded away.' |
|
I was also delighted to at last see a copy of 'Heroe's All.' |
