Eardley makes Wales bow
Oldham teenager Neal Eardley made his first appearance for Wales during the midweek friendly win in Bulgaria.
The 18-year-old defender, a product of the Latics academy, was a half-time substitute for Tottenham's Gareth Bale in Burgas where Freddy Eastwood's first-half strike earned John Toshack's side a surprise 1-0 win.
Eardley had been named in previous full Wales squads by Toshack, but was an unused substitute against New Zealand.
